DESCRIPTION:
Join us for a family-friendly, hands-on event celebrating our flock of Lincolnshire Buff Chickens, one of Britain’s traditional heritage breeds. Designed to be interactive and engaging for all ages, the session offers a chance to learn how these chickens are cared for, why heritage breeds matter, and how eggs are produced from hen to home. You’ll discover where chickens come from, what they need to thrive, and how daily husbandry works on the Estate. A highlight for many will be the opportunity to gently handle newly hatched chicks, making this a memorable and educational experience for the whole family. You may also be able to buy some eggs to take home with you!
