DESCRIPTION:

Join the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival at Gunby Estate, Hall and Gardens for a family friendly Regency and Roses Day on Monday 25 May.

Enjoy a choice of walks celebrating the beautiful scenery around Gunby, including a gentle two‑mile (10.30 am – 12.00 noon – meet in the Courtyard) Regency‑themed walk through the parkland and grounds to the old Ice house pond. This easy “there and back” route is ideal for a relaxed stroll, with plenty of time to chat, explore, and soak up the views. Along the way, enjoy charming tales of Regency‑era family life, full of the joys and dramas you’d expect from a Jane Austen novel.

Step into a world where history, imagination, and nature come together, as Gunby turns back the clock for Regency and Roses Monday.

The Lincolnshire Regency Society returns in full period costume, bringing the elegance and flair of the Regency era (1795–1837) to life. Watch graceful dance displays, meet costumed characters, try Regency dancing, or bring a picnic to enjoy the day in true Regency style.

Take time to explore the House or wander through the Makers Market. Admire the annual rose display, bursting with colour and fragrance, then browse the May Makers Market, where local stalls are packed with crafts, handmade goods, and delicious treats, all set among the fresh greenery of spring. Enjoy traditional lawn games and a range of additional ‘thrilling’ activities (tbc).

Whether you’re a history lover, a fan of local creativity, or simply looking for a lovely day out in the countryside, Gunby promises a feast for the senses and a joyful celebration of spring.

Refreshments available from the Gunby tea-room and picnics welcome.

Dogs on leads welcome.
