DESCRIPTION:
Join us for a relaxed foraging walk celebrating the abundance of wild spring edibles. In May the countryside bursts with fresh greens, blossoms, and fragrant plants like elder, meadowsweet, and wild garlic. We’ll gently explore hedgerows and woodland edges on the South Ormsby Estate, discovering seasonal favourites from wild strawberries to hogweed stems. With friendly expert guidance, you’ll learn safe, thoughtful harvesting and gain confidence in identifying plants. Everyone loves the treasure-hunt feel of this activity and you will reconnecting with nature. Samples of wild foods included!
