DESCRIPTION:
Celebrate this special anniversary with a 3.5 mile walk with Lincolnshire County Council’s Rights of Way Team. Find out how the Viking Way came into existence, how it is managed and promoted and how we are celebrating 50 years of the route.  As well as walking part of the Viking Way we will also take in Banovallum Carr woodland, Horncastle canal and the Spa Trail.

Meeting location / venue: Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Horncastle. The walk will start from the main information stand within the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival Activity Day 2026.
