DESCRIPTION:

2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the Viking Way, and to celebrate Horncastle Walkers and Horncastle History and Heritage Society are staging a walk from Horncastle to Woodhall Spa along part of the Way. There will also be a short talk (about 10 minutes) at the start giving a short explanation of how the Viking Way came about.

Meet 10am at Horncastle Library, Wharf Rd, LN9 5HL. W3W: blotches.exclaim.craziest

The walk is about 5 miles and will take around 2 hours. Local car parks are available in Horncastle.
