Step into the night and uncover the hidden world of owls and bats on this guided evening walk through South Ormsby Estate. As daylight fades, a knowledgeable local guide will introduce you to these fascinating nocturnal creatures, explaining their behaviour, habitats and vital role in the ecosystem. The walk explores a range of Estate habitats as we listen and look for owls and bats. South Ormsby is home to all UK native bat species, alongside tawny, short-eared, little and barn owls. With bat roost spaces built into renovated roofs and owl boxes positioned across the estate, and the wide range of different habitats, there is excellent potential for sightings. You will also be introduced to our innovative bird monitoring technology, used to identify and record activity throughout the year, helping you better understand the wildlife around you.

Suitable for beginners, anyone interested in birds or bats or anyone who just wants to experience the Estate at a different time of the day.
