DESCRIPTION:

Join us for a relaxed walk from Jubilee Park in Woodhall Spa along the Spa Trail to Horncastle and back again. The walk will be led by Louise Darrington, Jubilee Park’s Health and Fitness Lead. The Spa Trail is a flat and easy route along a former railway line.

This is a round-trip walk, but if you’d like to join us for just the outbound walk from Woodhall Spa to Horncastle, you would need to make your own personal arrangements to be collected from Horncastle at your own chosen location.

If you choose to walk to Horncastle and back to Woodhall Spa, the walk will finish at Jubilee Park.

Length of walk or activity: Approx 12 miles if full round trip done

Age suitability: 16+

Ability level and accessibility: Moderate, 12 mile distance. Flat path with some uneven ground

Dog friendly: Yes

Toilets available: Toilets available at start, including accessible toilet. Public toilets available at Horncastle (half way point)

Refreshments: Refreshments available for purchase at Jubilee Park cafe (start point), or in Horncastle (half way point).  Partticipants advised to bring snacks and drinks with them.

If you would like to walk just the outbound leg of this walk, please state this when you book your ticket below. You will need to arrange your own transport or collection from Horncastle if you only plan to complete the first leg of the walk.

This is a FREE walk, but numbers are limited, and a ticket is required.

The walk will start at 10:00 am promptly, but please arrive from 9:30am in order to check in and be ready to depart at 10:00 am.
