DESCRIPTION:

Enjoy a gentle guided walk by a local knowledgeable expert through the Estate, focusing on the remarkable trees that shape our beautiful Wolds landscape. As you stroll through the parkland, woodland edges and historic avenues, in areas not usually open to the public, you’ll learn how to identify different species, understand their ages and roles, and hear stories about how they have been used and managed over centuries. From ancient veterans to newer plantings, the walk explores the ecological, historical and seasonal importance of trees, offering a relaxed and informative experience for anyone with an interest in nature, heritage and the countryside.
