This energetic walk follows the Viking Way from Caistor up the Nettleton Valley, past the old ironstone mines and near the highest part of the Wolds, where on a fine day you can see both the Humber Bridge and Lincoln Cathedral. Descend into Rothwell before ascending again to the ridge back to Caistor.
