Message from the Author:

I like the idea of an outside book-related talk/walk.

My recently published novel, Trying Times for Sebastian Scattergood, features at least 9 Wolds walks, two of which appear in the February edition of 'Lincolnshire Life' as part of the article on my book. These two walks, the Wold Newton Trail (Wold Newton/Hawerby/Beesby) and the South Ormsby Trail (South Ormsby/Brinkhill/Driby) - both roughly 6 miles, and both walked by day and by night in the book - are the places where things go disastrously wrong for my hero and lead eventually to his Tennyson Tours company biting the dust. It is possible to follow these walks in detail in the book and pinpoint the location where certain unfortunate events occur.

There is also one other walk, The Tetford/Bag Enderby/Somersby trail, which is described in detail in the book and includes many references to Alfred Lord T.

I know all of these walks very well. If I am not qualified to lead a walk, I could accompany a group, providing an occasional running commentary or provide reading stops. If you can suggest any other way I could include the book in the festival, I would be very interested to hear.

Kind regards

Keith
