The invertebrates in our rare chalk streams help tell us a story about the health of the water. Join the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project to try Riverfly surveying.

The day will involve an introduction to the national Riverfly Monitoring Initiative, giving an overview of how to identify key invertebrates and how surveying can give us vital information on the condition of our rivers. You'll get a chance to get in the water and collect a sample yourself and then with guidance identify and score your sample.

The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project are looking for volunteers to be professionally trained to survey our streams, this day is all about giving people the chance to give it a try first!
