The event is an opportunity for people to try dinghy sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding for all ages above 8 years.

Visitors will be taken out in boats by experienced helms. People with any special needs can be accommodated with prior arrangement and should ring 07733 510460 to discuss their requirements.

Appropriate PPE will be provided. Activities will be delivered with consideration of the weather conditions on the day. Safety of everyone will be paramount.

Refreshments will be on sale. Cash preferred but Covenham Sailing Club do have provision to pay with card.

Personal Equipment

Single hander dinghies, windsurfing and paddle boarding will result in people getting wet, therefore, wetsuits, wind proofs and buoyancy will be provided. The larger sailing craft will keep people dry although feet may get wet so soft soled shoes are ideal. Participants will need to bring a change of footwear.

Type of clothing/footwear

Change of clothes, towel, soft soled shoes (trainers/plimsoles). If the weather is cool a fleece and woolly hat would be ideal. Towels and shower materials required in case of immersion in water.
