The route passes Victorian houses, churches, businesses, and farms. With the help of Henry Winn's diaries, letters, essays and poetry discover how people lived, and how the village developed during his lifetime (1816-1910). Winn was immersed in community matters and became an acknowledged historian and chronicler. His essays and poetry were regularly featured in newspapers earning him the title, Grand Old Man of Lincolnshire.
