Free-movement dance in nature - Sunset over the Wolds

Dance Free is a free-movement activity held on a beautiful meadow location overlooking the Lincolnshire Wolds where you move freely to music in nature wearing wireless headsets.

It's a fun and welcoming space to let go and move however you feel. The session starts with a short facilitated guidance into movement to help you move into your comfort zone, drop into your body and away from your thoughts and then the rest is free movement to music through a journey of ambient, euphoric and soulful beats in a mix of genres.

It's about moving as much or as little as you want, with no judgment. Everyone is welcome - anyone can participate, regardless of age, gender or ability. No experience is necessary.

Afterwards you'll feel such a sense of calm from releasing, letting go and feeling free in their body. And often a real sense of connection with yourself, others and nature, as well as a release of tension and energised.

Moving freely to music in nature can deepen your connectedness with nature as it heightens your sensory experience which enables you to open to emotions such as compassion, perceive beauty or find meaning in nature. When moving in nature in an emotive state, such as dancing, our senses and perception expand.
