Step into the fascinating world of honey bees with this hands-on experience at North Thoresby Orchards.

Your visit begins with a short introduction to honey bees and how a hive works, before being guided to one of the on-site apiaries. Wearing protective equipment, you’ll get up close to the hive, lifting frames of bees and learning how to assess the health and activity of the colony.

This is a unique opportunity to experience beekeeping in a safe, supportive environment while gaining a deeper understanding of the important role bees play in our ecosystem.
